Who Owns LedgeRock Golf Club?

LedgeRock is owned and operated under Greenbriar Founders, LLC, a limited liability company, providing all Class A, Class B, and Class C members equity ownership. Your investment is 100% equity, and requires no initiation fee.

Why is Equity Membership Important?

Equity ownership eliminates the possibility of the club being sold as may be the case when such clubs are owned by only two or three people. It also prevents the club from being sold without a majority vote from the members.

How is the Club Managed?

LedgeRock is organized and managed in accordance with an Operating Agreement, subject to member review and approval. All present and future club members will always have an exclusive club controlled by the members.

How is LedgeRock Different than other Private Clubs?

First, LedgeRock has been designed by world renowned golf architect, Rees Jones. Few other clubs within 100 miles will match the superior level of play and maintenance found at LedgeRock. Second, LedgeRock has the region’s finest golf Learning Center. It features year-round indoor training facilities for private or group instruction, video swing analysis teaching aids, and multi-faceted short game and target green practice areas. And, finally, LedgeRock provides an outstanding level of service to each and every member, including no gender-based playing privileges. Barring few exceptions, you, your family and your friends can play any time, any day.

How Challenging a Course did Rees Jones Design?

Rees has said many times LedgeRock will be, and in fact now is, a challenging, but fun, course for all levels of play. The course plays to approximately 7,191 yards from the Jones tees; 6,928 yards from the blue tees; 6,599 yards from the white tees; 6131 yards from the black tees; and 5167 yards from the yellow tees.

What about Course Maintenance?

The Founders and Rees Jones believe that one of the major factors in a great golf course is the quality of its ongoing maintenance program. In fact, Rees Jones insisted that he assist LedgeRock in securing the Greens Superintendent for the club. The Founders have studied the budgets of other area clubs, e.g. Merion, Lookaway, Stonewall, Huntingdon Valley, Squires, Philadelphia Cricket, etc., and have committed to a maintenance program to rival these great courses.

Are there Benefits for Corporate Memberships?

We are currently accepting up to 9 Corporate Memberships which permits a minimum of two(2) and maximum of four (4) individuals employed by such corporation or business to have all the rights, privileges and obligations of a Class C Member. Our Learning Center, available year-round, offers a private meeting room completely furnished with state-of-the-art audio-visual and communications equipment. The Learning Center and the course are available for corporate training and events. Additionally, Thomas Kohl Lodge is available for overnight accommodations, conveniently located off the 11th green. The Kohl Lodge is a wonderful opportunity to entertain business associates and guests in an atmosphere of hospitality and unparalleled service.
